ABSA is imposing a temporary moratorium on HSAS certifications from DEC 24. Provided applicants complete their training by Dec 24 and submit their completed applications by Jan 21 2010, applications will be processed. After this date applications will not be processed.

Registration processing takes a minimum of 20 working days.

Certification Fees
The fee structure to become a certified Home Sustainability Assessor is as follows.

Full certification fee: $660 including GST ($550 is payable on the anniversary of certification)

If you are already a certified Building Thermal Performance (BTP) Assessor under the Home Energy Rating Scheme (HERS) and meet all of the HSAS requirements you will only need to pay $440 including GST for full HSAS certification.

The certification fee includes ABSA membership.

Please note that no fees are required to register using the form on this page. Fees will be paid as part of the application process to become a certified ABSA Home Sustainability Assessor.
